How we work
The process
Interior design should be exciting, not stressful. Our five-step process is designed to keep you informed and in control at every stage — while we handle the complexity.
Consult
We start with a conversation — your home, your lifestyle, your timeline, and your goals. We walk the space (or review floor plans for pre-close clients), discuss aesthetic direction, and scope the project honestly. At the end, you know exactly what to expect.
Typical duration
1–2 hours
What you receive
Project scope, timeline, and a clear fee proposal.
Concept
We develop a full concept for each room: space plans, mood boards, material palettes, and a curated furniture selection. Everything is presented for your review and approval before a single order is placed. This is where the vision becomes concrete.
Typical duration
1–2 weeks
What you receive
Space plans, mood boards, material selections, and a furniture plan.
Source
With the concept approved, we source everything — blending our trade accounts (the coordinated, reorderable core) with in-person outlet finds (the statement pieces that make a space feel collected). We manage every order, track every lead time, and keep you informed.
Typical duration
2–6 weeks
What you receive
Complete procurement list with confirmed lead times and a delivery schedule.
Install
On install day, we coordinate all deliveries, assemble and place every piece, and handle the logistics so you don't have to. We work efficiently and leave the space clean. You are not required to be present — though many clients enjoy watching it come together.
Typical duration
1–3 days
What you receive
Fully furnished and placed rooms, ready for styling.
Reveal
The final step is the one that matters most. We layer in textiles, art, plants, and accessories — the details that transform a furnished room into a finished home. Then we step back and let you experience it. This is the moment everything was building toward.
Typical duration
2–4 hours
What you receive
A fully styled, photo-ready home.
Common questions
What to expect
How far in advance should I reach out?
Ideally 4–8 weeks before you want to start. For new-build buyers, reaching out before you close gives us the most flexibility — we can begin concept work while you wait for keys.
Do I need to be present during install?
No. Many clients prefer to arrive to a finished reveal. We handle all deliveries and placement, and we will walk you through everything when we are done.
Can I supply some of my own furniture?
Yes. We work with existing pieces all the time. We will incorporate what you love and source what fills the gaps.
What is the minimum project size?
We work on single rooms through full homes. Our move-in ready packages start with the great room — the most impactful single investment in a new-build.
Ready to begin?
The first step is a conversation. Tell us about your project and we will take it from there.
